This online written test consisted of three section viz maths, programming and electronics for 20 minutes, 30 minutes and 35 minutes respectively consisting 20 questions each.
MATHS:
This round consisted 20 questions to be solved in 20 minutes. The question in this required a lot of practice in mathematical aptitude section and very quick problem solving techniques.
PROGRAMMING:
This round consisted of 20 questions to be done in 25 mins. The question was based on data structure, algorithm, OOPs and other basic concepts in programming. A good understanding of the these concepts would ensure answering with ease.
ELECTRONICS:
This round consisted of 20 questions in 35 minutes. The question was based on the concept of VLSI, microelectronics, logic design, analog electronics, communication, etc. This round was the most difficult of all and required very good understanding of the concepts of basic of all these concepts. Brushing up of all the formulae and concepts is crucial for clearing this exam.
There were questions based on the resume.
The mini project done were the center of questioning as they reflected the interest. The questions on the mini project included everything from the scratch to planning and execution.
Apart from the project the questions were based on
a. VLSI 1>design a latch using a 2:1 mux,
2 Explain why present VLSI circuits use MOSFETs instead of BJTs?)
b. Microelectronics(like 1>Mention what are three regions of operation of MOSFET and how are they used?
2 Which semiconductor device is used as a voltage regulator and why?), RLC circuits, etc.
